EXPO 2027 Belgrade: A Global Event Coming to Serbia
Belgrade is preparing to become the meeting point of the world as Serbia gets ready to host EXPO 2027, a major international event that will bring together countries, organizations, innovators, artists, athletes and millions of visitors from around the globe.
The Specialized EXPO will take place in Belgrade from 15 May to 15 August 2027, lasting 93 days. It will be the first Specialized EXPO ever held in the Western Balkans and is expected to attract more than four million visitors.
“Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All”
The central theme of EXPO 2027 is “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All.” The organizers aim to show that play is much more than entertainment. It can encourage creativity, innovation, cooperation and communication between people of different cultures and generations.
The programme will explore three major areas: Power of Play, Play for Progress and Play Together. Visitors will be able to experience international exhibitions, cultural performances, sports activities, workshops, educational programmes and interactive installations.
